What is Blink?
Blink is an action-stealth game all about teleporting and kicking ass. You play as Iris, a professional saboteur who has been captured and experimented on by mechanized weaponry research baron Darius Ardshir in an attempt to teleport a human being for the first time in history. His goal? To prove and sell a technology that could produce the ultimate soldier: a “para-trooper” unlike any seen before. On the brink of his long awaited success, Iris causes the experiment to go horribly wrong. Chaos and destruction rip through the premises, and Iris gains the power to teleport herself. Free of her bonds, Iris must escape her captor and the collapsing facility while stealthily taking down his mech army with her existing combat prowess and new-found abilities. Prepare to be both predator and prey in Blink, for one false warp could be your last.
Blink is being developed in the Advanced Game Project course at the University of Southern California. Although the design and engineering teams are comprised of students from both the Computer Science (Games) and Interactive Media departments at USC, the rest of the team comes from all over, including artists from several art schools around Greater Los Angeles.
